BUILD FOR THE OPEN SHOWCASE

Arcadium Nexus connects indie developers with players through a free Showcase program built around useful feedback, public recognition, recurring community activity, and a credible path to an eventual in-person showcase.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY

The Open Showcase is being restructured as an expanded developer season. The original submission deadline is being extended, but the replacement deadline and physical-event date are not yet committed. Existing participants retain continuity through the rebase. Updated dates and participation details will be published together after the coordinated campaign cutover is approved.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

New, in-development, and previously released indie games may be eligible. Solo creators and teams of up to seven current members may participate. Entrants must be 14 or older; participants ages 14–17 require documented parent or legal-guardian consent. Remote participation is allowed.

WHAT TO PREPARE

For eventual physical-showcase consideration, plan for a self-contained offline Windows build or approved offline HTML package. The experience should become understandable in about five minutes, support a meaningful 10–20 minute session, use ordinary controls or approved hardware, and reset cleanly between players. Developers retain ownership of their games.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

Joining, submitting, qualifying, being selected for the physical catalog, and passing technical readiness are separate stages. Hands-on testing is required before qualification, endorsement, technical approval, or physical selection. Donations, sponsorships, referrals, personal relationships, and social popularity do not buy placement or influence review.

STAY IN THE LOOP

Use the Contact page and choose “Developer participation” to express interest or ask about the expanded season. Contact or participation does not create a partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or guarantee of qualification or selection.
